thanks. I'll get it in time. What worries me is the back plate if i do get it. So basically i stumbled on this pinball action control panel on ebay. It's basically a generic cocktail knockoff of Namco's japanese cocktail panels with the exception that the US version has a hole at the bottom to mount from underneath. I contacted the guy to see if he would be willing to negotiate and he wasn't having any of that.

Namco control panel for comparison

Sanwa panel

Sega panel

I could also use a frogger cocktail control panel although i'd have to modify it a bit.

I did manage to get a small PC that has an embedded AMD E2 laptop APU that runs at 1.5ghz for next to nothing. I was expecting to throw this away because i really didn't think this would run anything. Loaded up both Hyperspin and HyperV and was impressed. Menu lagged in only the most intensive hyperspin themes and it played just about everything up to Tekken smoothly. Everything from that era on lagged.

yeah. very overpriced and he doesn't have the original bottom mounting bracket either so its of no use to someone who even has a pinball action pcb. Thing is, by the time i fabricate a new top for buttons and a joystick plus the a mounting bracket, that control panel is going to be insanely expensive.  :-\

Coming Soon

New default theme (more on this below)
Removed Interstitial backgrounds
~ 7 additional non-clone games since the last release
more game flyer backgrounds
more videos
various bugfixes
Ability to play more clones

Having a default theme is something i sort of rallied against when i first started this. unfortunately its become clear once i started adding game info text that a default theme was needed mainly because using the game flyer as the background created a cluttered screen.  So far I've just created a basic dark background with a few game titles all set to grayscale. I've also added a dark gradient shadow to the bottom so that the game information text is more visible. This works even if a game flyer is loaded as the background.

If you have any suggestions before the next release please let me know soon

last update for today. Nightmare/Clean Octopus running. Couldn't find a wheel image for it but luckily the original marquee was clear enough on the flyer to vectorize.

Localizations and alternate romsets now have related wheels and game info. I kept most bootlegs using normal text for the wheel image.

Everything is nearly ready for a release. All roms and available media has been updated up to Mame 0.205. There are 3 new clones and one newer parent rom in the latest mame release that i need to deal with. I also have to redo the manufacturer and date info.

I've got an earlier version running on a newer, i5 POS terminal and it's pretty sweet.
