You have to give Stern credit, they are getting their money's worth out of this design. :)

If I was always hoping for a Primus pin I would see this as a slap in the face. How would Iron Maiden fans feel if this is what they got?

I agree for their fans, pretty much the same for a lot of Beatles fans but at least we have a chance they might make it up by creating a late Beatles Album or era pin with all the new tech.  Might be 2 or 3 years out for us Beatles fans.

Do you essentially get 3 games in one if you swap out the WNBJM or PBRCC code?

most likely the spike controller will not allow you to load a game from another system, unless there is a "tech tip" on installing game code from a used spike board?

It’s still the same game you just hit the same things in a different order.

but you get pabst commercialism in a primus package.

there's 1 azz out there that wants exactly that.  ;D

someone should buy all 3 (whoa, boobs...pabst creeper van, and lime-us green primus), swap all playfields, then sell them each as "1 of 1"...with the stupidity of values and the general buying attitude, you could bank.

sorry, all 4. i keep forgetting the beatles isn't an april's fool joke.

This does sort of suggest that their marketing department thinks that the theme alone will sell games.

They seem to believe there is a segment of the market who just wants a cool piece for the house and doesnt care much how it plays or that its just a rehash.

Wonder how accurate that is?

Even here, a lot of pinballs are for sale with very low plays. How many are ready to pay double for a good looker rather than a 100% player condition? I think you are right, today many people buy a cool decorative toy rather than a table they will play to death...
