Vader fan series
« on: December 23, 2018, 03:56:03 AM »

So this is kind of odd, but I guess not too surprising given the relatively high-end fan made Star Trek stuff that has come up in the past few years.

It's a series about Darth Vader, set between Episodes 3 & 4.

Bits of it are surprisingly good, in other parts the low-budget nature shows. The dialog is clunky at times, but if anything that makes it feel more like something George Lucas could have written.

The guy doing Vader's voice is pretty good, the Emperor less so.

I read something about a takedown from Disney, but apparently this was after they had permission?

Probably someone in P.R. said yes, then the lawyers said "Oh hell no..."
