FS: Restored Black Knight 2000
« on: February 09, 2019, 10:44:34 AM »
Listing this here first in hopes that it remains in Florida in case I regret selling it and can get it back easier.  But I guess we'll have to see if anyone here loves BK2K as much as me ;D  This is probably the nicest yet most expensive Black Knight 2000 you've seen.  It is one shiny game, with the following:

- New cabinet w/ high quality decals
- Chrome side rails, lockdown bar, hinges
- Black powdercoated legs, new levelers/bolts
- New shooter housing, rod, spring
- Refinished coin door
- Original playfields touched up and clearcoated by Ron Kruzman
- New plastics
- New posts, flippers, rubbers, etc. on top side of playfield
- Mostly new coils, flipper plates, sleeves, posts, etc. on bottom side of playfield
- Original nearly perfect backglass
- New red LED display
- New Xpin power supply and aux board, other boards gone through
- Flipper Fidelity sound system

It has LEDs everywhere, side art blades, topper (not installed), some other little things.  I've dialed in the game quite a bit and it plays great with no issues.

Is this machine "perfect"?  No, I believe that if you look hard enough you can always find flaws in a pinball machine.  One obvious flaw is scratched chrome near the hinges.  But I've not seen a nicer BK2K out there and the last restored one I saw sold for $5k fast without as much work done as this one.  I don't even know how much I have into this machine...probably don't want to know.

That said, I'm going to ask for $5700.  Trades?  No way...Give Me Your Money!   :)

Ryan let me tell you this is a stunning machine and having restored many pins and arcades I can appreciate it.
I too love BK2000!

I picked up my BK2000 a number of years ago from Kurt and fully cleaned it up/touched it up.  Redid the legs and anything that needed it.
Fully shopped and LED'd.
It's a beautiful machine but this is obviously nicer.
If I didn't have it I'd be talking to you about this machine.
I DO hope it stays in Florida.

In my opinion BK2000 is a very underrated and fun pinball machine!

As Russ has stated.   I also can appreciate the work involved in this pin.  It’s how I would do antrue restore.

Would love to have it but I’m tapped on pins for awhile :). Hope it finds a home in Florida.

Have seen this game in person and it is stellar as described. Chrome and black hardware look great.
