You don’t see them for sale very often, but personally I wouldn’t pay more then 3,500 for one. Even then I would really have to think about it.

Btw, when i was new to collecting, back then, I got a NIB LOTRLE for 5900.  The distributor wanted me to get the LE for 4800. I got a SM instead for 5000$. 2010 or 11.

The RS L.E. is very nice, although I've only seen/played once.

Mid to High 3k

i was thinking low to mid 3000s, maybe even high 2000s.  :)

we're talking a routed machine, with the heavy use and lack of maintenance expected from a routed 6 year old machine.

1500 in florida
Most people have to pay others for shopping, fixing, etc
Which adds cost to the machine
Value on machines down here suck
Just my 2 cents

it sold at a florida auction for $4000 out the door. the guy asking me about it, i told him without being hands on, it's a $2500 game, and even that was risky if boards got pilfered.

i didn't realize pinside stuck it at a $5200+/- value. that's nuts.

a tron sold for about the same price. much better risk/reward value at that price.

Pinside seems to value the games much higher than what they can sell for in Florida. My son has always sold games up in Indiana for at least 25 to 30% higher than they would ever sell for down here. I don't really know why.
