I can’t pay for anyones education.  I’m too strapped paying another 16B to farmers.  Hopefully Trump won’t make any more biggest, baddest, with the best names, trade deals that help us all out.

I’ve been pretty silent here watching the insanity.  But I still anxiously await the “I only live to watch liberals cry” answer the tax and healthcare cost question, and how much better it is now compared to last year.

Btw, there was another indictment today from the “witch hunt”
      They don't care …….
Trumps gonna give them their Christian nation they have been opining for!
Trumps gonna give them less Guberment  ….ie less regulation UNLESS YOUR A WOMAN ..,,WHO'S WOMB NOW BELONGS TO THEM!            My ideologic opponents here seem to think that the Rich and or wealthy are the Exalted one's , Ayn Rand follower's go figure.

I don't personally care about that, and your evidence of that is what, exactly...?  ???

I do care about this. Government isn't my nanny. Government isn't there to clothe and feed me or to put me through college. Government exists to protect life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness; anything else is out of scope.

The more government tries to do, the more government fails, whether through sheer incompetence or by concentrating resources in one location, thus inviting corruption.

Don't blame me: I voted with the majority of Electoral College electors.

His 180 degree turn on pro life is a good example, being that he was pro choice most of his life.  He has specifically nominated justices there are also pro life.

What is the role of government in your eyes?  Most of what's been done under this administration is a systemic dismantling of protective regulations on businesses that benefit only the owners/investors in those businesses, none of which is shrinking the government.  Look at the attached chart and show me where the GOP is the party for smaller government in recent decades.  That's pure propaganda.

He was also a Democrat for most of his life, remember...? There are currently some pro-life Democrats, although they probably aren't long for this Earth at the rate the rabid leftists are casting out those who stray from party orthodoxy. I'm also not sure how this one subject is making America any more 'a Christian nation' than it already was...?  ???

I already stated what the role of government should be.

As far as your graph goes, I see government employment largely flat during the George W. Bush administration and during Trump's administration. And I don't see Republicans promising "Medicare for All", an idea flatly rejected by the medical industry, since the medical industry is forced to charge health insurers more to make up for what they lose due to structured Medicare payments. The government can't run the Veterans' Administration properly and often fails in delivery of care to veterans, and veterans are a subset of Americans who deserve to receive better care than most.

Do you have anything substantive to state?  ???

I wouldn't be so sure that it is only two more years.  None of the 50 Dems running look that great.

Just waiting for you to offer criticism to any GOP policy or politician.  Politics isn't the good vs evil that you pretend it is... it's all shades of grey, impossible to eat every parcel of crap these parties shove down your throat.

I've previously criticized George W. Bush for not doing more to restrain the size or growth of government. I wish Trump would do more, but I am pleased that he is at least appointing judges who aren't going to legislate from the bench. I can't take any of the Democratic presidential candidates seriously, though, since most of them are selling nonsense promises of free healthcare, education, income, that simply aren't practicable.

It's more of a matter of priorities than "nonsense promises" (e.g., military vs health care).  If nothing else we can agree that the current deficit spending is  not sustainable, no matter where it is spent.... and that the Democratic candidates are largely uninspiring... no less so than the GOP candidate.  We'd be better off penciling you in for next election.   ;D

What about Trump's promise from the last election that he was going to give us cheaper and better health care?  The GOP had control of the House and Senate at the time and we still waiting for these changes.

It's no worse than promising that a typical family would save up to $2,500/yr. on their health insurance premiums or that if you liked your healthcare plan, you could keep your healthcare plan.
