Eh... whatever. Scientology is definitely scummy. Not like I was buying music though. Pretty sure the Beck CDs I used to have were all courtesy of Columbia House & the other "free" CD club, and anything since then has been downloaded.

Long since squared the idea of separating the art from the artist anyway. Bill Cosby's old standup is undeniably great; doesn't make a him a good person - and so on.

beck was never a musician either. :P  how some people get ANY radio play, i will never understand.  ;D

Yeah and what about those first 6 Rolling Stones albums? THose guys were definately trying to play black artists type stuff and sounded good doing it.

Beck is a dork and was doing it ironically in true hipster fashion. There is a difference.   :P
