FS: Neo Geo 4slot big red project
« on: June 27, 2020, 04:39:24 PM »
Just picked this up in a package deal and I have zero intention of dealing with it.

$200 come and get it tonight in South Orlando!

Cab:. It has seen moisture and one side is puffed out on the bottom inch. However the plywood base is solid and it is structurally sound. No back door... Definitely a project but not a lost cause.

Monitor: was told that it was functional although I have not tested it in anyway. Doesn't look like it has burn.

PCB: comes with a working single slot PCB (untested by me).

Power Supply: was tested last year (with the other stuff above) and is supposedly working as well.

Comes with an extra set of the mini marquee lights as the person said they were kind of dim so he upgraded and got a better set.

I will include one common cart or two as well.

I don't think I have a bezel glass for this, though I will check and see if I have a plexi that is at least close.  For the price I'm just looking for someone to show up, load and go.  I do have 3 additional 4 slot PCB stacks that I was told need work, and additional common carts, but I'm going to research the carts and PCBs and ask close to the actual value for them. Still, if you're buying the game I'll work with you on the other stuff.

If you're someone who routinely takes games to free play florida then yes I will give you a day or two to get here, but otherwise it is available to the first person willing to drive to South Orlando with cash :)

Pics to follow later tonight

$350 FOR EVERYTHING NEO I HAVE...  COME TODAY and I'll throw in some mortars as well (I have loads of fireworks :p)

In addition to the original description of everything above:

-- this includes 5 or so carts (including a puzzle bobble cart) and at least a couple boxes (fatal fury and bust a move)
-- a few extra mini marquees for games I don't have carts for
-- THREE 4slot pcb stacks that I was told all have some sort of issue (these bring $75ea on ebay alone)
-- a single slot marquee out of an unknown cab
-- the extra set of marquee backlight panels that were dimmer

Man, are there any vintage arcade dudes left around here?

I just dug and found:

5 carts: Sam Showdown x2, Metal slug, world heroes, puzzle bobble
1 NOS!!!! Samurai Showdown II NOS marquee (has a few very small scratches so no longer perfect, but very nice condition still
1 single slot neo geo system marquee
1 Samurai showdown marquee with just a single slot window
4 boxes (Sam. Showdown, bust-a move, fatal fury, world heroes)
inserts/instructions/etc. for most of the boxes above!!!!
1 original owners manual for the 4slot cab (I think it's for this one)
and a couple other bits and bobs...

Come TONIGHT at any point before 1am and I'll honor $350 for *everything*.

So I plugged it in last night and didn't hear/see any life in the power supply.  I didn't see a switch on it or interlock somewhere so it might be dead.  As such, I'm going to include an NOS 200w swtiching power supply with it!

Come today and I'll throw in a $50+ box of mortars (if you're into fireworks) and some other explosives (I'm friends with a fireworks distributor ;) ).  It's a 500gm repeater ('mortar cake').  :o :o

There was like crawl space between the old broken electronics and stacks of billy mitchell hot sauce last time i was over there so don't make out that you don't have any room. You've just gone soft.

How many games you got in the shower? Probably squeeze one in there. You got a hose outside what do you need that indoor version for Mr. Vanderbilt, damn.
