Spy Hunter whole or parts
« on: September 16, 2020, 02:58:45 PM »
Everything is there except the back door. I was thinking of making a new cab and restoring but just don't have the motivation and would rather have the space right now.

This was being stored for a couple years for me but I guess it wasn't climate controlled storage. Almost all the graphics on the marquee and bezel flaked off into the cab. Never had sideart since I bought it. The cab has some swelling and isn't very sturdy at the bottom, been painted a few times. It's dirty and will clean up inside but I would just cut a new one. The speaker panel above the monitor fell down so I pulled it out. I took all the electronics out including the wiring when I got it a couple months ago. I also took apart the steering wheel to start restoring it but just haven't gotten to it. The cpo itself is in nice shape. Pretty much everything needs restored.

$400 for everything or all the parts and I'll trash the cab or I will part it out after giving some time to see if anyone wants the whole thing.

for the lazy, it's a new cabinet with artwork, for 800 plus shipping. came out nice. good luck, parts worth way more than the asking price. Rob is easy to work with. :)

DPTWiz is back into marking cabinets ( well, he is doing the Computer stuff, he sold all his gear and the guy who bought it is now making the cabinets ), he is located in OH..

This is most likely a DPTwiz cab..  problem is, 800$ + Shipping + Moving everything over makes it a little pricey.. I sold my Spy Hunter for $200 years ago, its a fun game, but i would rather build my own cab. LOL.

i agree. just stuck the link that bum alluded to. i think off of klov, DPTwiz cabinets were $500ish each, not sure if they came with the artwork or not.

i sold my spy hunter cheap, too...and not sad to not get it back.

good luck with the sale, rob. :D  parts alone, someone would be hard pressed to pick this up in pieces for under $1000 nowadays.

I saw the one on eBay and it isn't a bad deal with artwork and all but shipping is another matter. I thought about it but I also enjoy making my own but I'm just not feeling it. Usually I would just hang on to it for the future when I got to it but I'm tired of having so much stuff.
