i like the LE art the best . Not standard. Those are not honda's Man ..
I do like the Side decal Only of the Standards Head  / Did not see the Plastics at Slingshot for the CE but the LE Slingshot plastics are awesome. Looks great . I for one can't wait to play it in a Home environment.

that's what i meant. i like the standard cabinet art way more than the LE. but, the standard seems stripped down just from looking at the pics. for $3000 off, i understand why :)

love the guitar ramps, and the drumstick habitrail was brilliant.

and 5000 is just never going to be "limited". sorry. like rick and morty, i bet there will be less standards on the market than the limiteds. :) you can still buy a limited Beatles gold, and they haven't even made all 1964 of those yet. ;D

have to play it to judge it. but this band alone gives it a solid bump.

Im with you on the standard I think it "looks the coolest"...

Im the opposite on the band I think they are the most overrated band in history after maybe Pearl Jam  :P

Either way I would be interested to play it.... I am also glad that gave up on widebodies finally.

I didnt love the Wonka theme or looks at first wise but game was tons of fun so it gave me some love for JJ games finally.

I think 5000 le was a typo, it seems to be "only" 500

They look great. But I could never figure out why, if they're going to spend so much time putting in modes, that they don't make a novice mode. Strip the game down so that kids can play. Once they get good, then flip it over and let them play the whole game.

I do like the idea of putting all the concert footage in. It's something that Stern really hasn't figured out yet. People want to see the actual band members, not cartoons of the band members or cartoons of some alternate universe where the band's music plays in the background. It feels too anesthetic without the band's faces and voices singing. So in that regard they got that really right.

Ironically, if you look at slot machines associated with celebrities or licensed properties you see the actual people! So if people would sign on to having their image associated with a slot machine, I think they could be talked into a pinball machine.

This a good idea to me.. make a kind of dumbed down version for people that dont know how to play.

Stern missed the boat on Star Wars by making it a bitch to play and learn.. if they had made it "easier" the theme cant miss.

Night and day difference on that LE vs standard. Too rich for me either way. :)
Looking for working or complete but non working examples of: Dragon's Lair, Frogger, Joust or Multi-Williams in a Joust cab

I had been hoping for this day for awhile now. Glad it finally was announced. JJP website sold out the CE model (not available as of today/this morning). Check with a distro to put your name/deposit down to get in line for a CE if your favorite distro still has them allotted to them and are not sold out on the CE models.

There is alot of good info on why JJP is doing the artwork in the way they did. To me the cabinet artwork on the LE made sense since its concert posters used from the GNR tours aka tour posters. Original artist that did the tour posters was used to create the cabinet artworks. And the LE has the same playfield as CE minus a couple other none needed but not $3,000 more in my opinion. But someone out there as a collector that is in love with GNR then they would probably want the CE. LE for me is the one I picked and it will be welcomed once it gets delivered. Standard is nice as is said by Eric from JJP as to be playing very fast.

Check out the Straight Down the Middle video on youtube. Its 25 mins long. Enjoy!! :-)

I heard they are doing 50 Super CE's @ 20K each (JK)
Pinball is getting insane, but as long as they can get people to buy, why not!?!?
Maybe now the JJP will be offloaded by collectors who can't afford both.

they were selling the home version of star wars for $4000+. get a ball in a hole, and hit it with a 2nd ball, and bam. multiball ! ! !  i don't think they missed any boat, as those little pieces of crap were selling like hotcakes when they came out. :)

So do we get bloated corn row Axl or the cocaine skinny Axl?  The first GnR is mediocre at best, maybe this one will hold more interest.

“The thing that hath been, it is that which shall be; and that which is done is that which shall be done: and there is no new thing under the sun.”
Book of Ecclesiastes

Understanding the person providing the quote has a remake and a 3rd gen JP, oh & a retropie  ;D
