They look great. But I could never figure out why, if they're going to spend so much time putting in modes, that they don't make a novice mode. Strip the game down so that kids can play. Once they get good, then flip it over and let them play the whole game.

I do like the idea of putting all the concert footage in. It's something that Stern really hasn't figured out yet. People want to see the actual band members, not cartoons of the band members or cartoons of some alternate universe where the band's music plays in the background. It feels too anesthetic without the band's faces and voices singing. So in that regard they got that really right.

Ironically, if you look at slot machines associated with celebrities or licensed properties you see the actual people! So if people would sign on to having their image associated with a slot machine, I think they could be talked into a pinball machine.

I agree cartoons killed Aerosmith for me.

This edition is cool.  But I’m still enjoying my original with the colordmd and Pinsound.   Add my led lighting... I’m not missing much as a casual player except saving 8k

Yeah- I was thinking this should be a widebody to accommodate Axl girth.
Not a fan of cartoony imagery either.  Call me traditional.

Stern can do real footage but chose not too.  Maybe cost.  If you look at pinside someone with a pro added it via pinball browser.  I’d love to get a premium version of that update.

Karl that’s awesome what version did you get?  I hope this is the second JJP I like. There have been a lot of overly hyped and underwhelming playing ones delivered in the past.  I hope like dialed in and gnr is the exception that proves the rule.

the shop was going to distribute for suncoast pinball as well.  well, you see how well they're doing now.

heighway, american, spooky, popadiuk, deep throot...no thanks.  

JJP makes beautiful machines. but if something goes wrong in or out of warranty, you better know a guy.
