Alex Trebek died today November 8, 2020 from pancreatic cancer. He was 80 years old. Host of jeopardy from 1984 to current, over 8000 episodes.

Figured this was coming. He apparently filmed his last show on 10/29 so he stuck with it until they end.

New shows will continue to air through Christmas.

Wonder who the new host will be? Ken Jennings?

Sad news but he fought the disease with courage. 

As far as a replacement, Ken Jennings was indeed a rumored replacement.  I thought Jeff Probst would be a good host.  He hosted Rock and Roll Jeopardy years ago and did well.
