Greetings all! We'd like to announce a new location coming soon to St Augustine Beach: Anastasia Island's Arcade Museum
Just trying to make a cool little spot to hangout and play some old games! We will be a wristband entry museum with machines on free play. Rotating lineup will be a mixture of video arcade, pinball and mechanical. We'll also have a vinyl jukebox. We'll have around 30 machines, and since the location isn't as large as we'd like, we'll have to try and rotate a few machines regularly to keep it fresh. We will also host local fundraisers and tournaments, and working on an overhead camera setup for streaming. We'd also love to stream world record attempts on some classic video arcades, eventually.
We've begun teasing the game lineup as we setup, if you'd like a preview please follow us on IG:

We will be working there the next several weekends, so please reach out if you'd like to help! Play-testing does count as help, as long as you can shop and repair also.

We will be curating machines for a few different collectors, so if you have a unique machine you'd like to show off or think we'd like to display it, please contact us! Loaning equipment, significant time/energy, etc to the museum will get your name on the Curator Plaque, and earn a Curator wristband which grants free access anytime we're open. We'll display the plaque when we open, with our initial list of curators, to whom we are most thankful!
We will have one exhibit room for vids which will be a rotating focus. We are starting with Pac-Man, and will have the original 7 machines from the Midway Pac-Man run: Pac, Ms Pac, Super Pac, Baby Pac, Jr Pac, PacLand and Professor Pac. We'll also have the 4 player Battle Royale import machine. (We'll rotate in a Taito Exhibit, Vector Exhibit, etc in the future).
Machines we're currently seeking, either for sale or curating:
Asteroids
-crazy we have to ask for this, because at one point we had 9 different Asteroids cabinets (after a bulk buy), but that was 20 years ago. Loads of Asteroids Deluxes around, but we'd like an Asteroids, non-working is ok too, as long as cabinet is solid!
Submarine
-cool mechanical upright by Midway. We used to play the one at Southern Music back in the day, so there's at least one around!
Ringer
-this is a upright mechanical by Williams with a shallow footprint, we have a perfect space for this. The footprint makes them unsteady as we all found out when the one was toppled at PAPA. They used to be common and popped up all the time, but as with several titles you look away and all the sudden everyone wants one and they dry up!
Quick & Crash, Bee Panic, Cool Gunman
-machine or parts, non-working, parted out, etc. All ok. We have a Q&C and would love to keep it running, so after spare parts, guns and the fiber optic system particularly.
Fire Escape, Zeke's Peak:
-Another shallow footprint machine perfect for our limited floorspace.
Pre-war Pinball
-we'd like to have one pre-war machine, but since we're only going to have one, it has to be a cool title. Jigsaw, Ballyhoo, Contact, etc.
Any other machines which fit this bill, like Whirlybird, Apollo, Stunt Pilot, etc. Unique titles, particularly with neat mechanical tricks.
Machines we're trading:
Tempest - complete, nice condition partially working.
Crossbow - complete, nice condition, with Exidy 440 kit, partially working.
(possibly more coming as we go through machines and decide what we have room for, etc)
Thank you and look forward to having some fun enjoying games with everyone soon!
