Not exactly sure that’s how he envisioned he would reach the number 1 status, but hey number 1 is number 1.

Going to be interesting to watch how stuff shifts around once IFPA opens the doors on August 1.

eric's ridiculous at pinball, there's no denying that. actually, several erics are pretty good.

but how did we come to this after a year of being "shut down"? we've had it easy compared to some other nations.


as far as the IFPA, they're late. not as bad as palm beach govt, but locally, we've forgotten that corona was even a thing.

the next year is gonna be a mess. heard on the news we have a bad flu season coming up. well, of course. 'cuz corona isn't a thing now. :P

Yes, there are a few good Erics out there :)

Anyway the short answer to your question is that IFPA stopped sanctioning events, but allowed the points to decay.  The rate of decay is 25% each year at the anniversary of a tourney and at the 3rd year all of the points for that event reduce to ZERO. 

So all of the jockeying of ranking positions witnessed was literally the result of people losing points.
