Can't find LOTR "ball save" adjustment...
« on: October 31, 2010, 09:18:28 AM »
Recently changed my batteries and lost all the adjustments.

I looked through the menus and manual and can't find a "ball save" adjustment (odd).

Is this set implicitly? (based on some other setting) or did I just miss it somehow?

Thanks for any help.

Nevermind...found it...it's called "freeze time".

Did you accidentally change the batteries with the game off?  :)

Anyway, glad you found the adjustment.

So Steve, you go from saving your balls to freezing them?  I thought you moved down here to save them from freezing?  LOL

What setting do you guys usually put your LOTR on for this?  I was looking at it, and tried 15 sec. (the max) and it almost seemed like too long.. Trying to find a happy medium, not too short, not too long...

Factory or shorter.  15 seconds is WAY too long.

Shorter ball saves will help your play in the long run. Trust me  :)

@Jeff, I believe I changed the batteries with the machine off. I guess I should do this with the machine turned on next time (to avoid loosing the high scores, settings, etc.). My first battery change...oh well.

No harm, no foul, but now you know what happens when the batteries are changed with the power off  :)
