Announcing the Jacksonville Arcade Expo

I am happy to announce a new pinball and arcade show in Jacksonville, FL.   While there are still a lot of details to work out yet the date and location are set. 

Jacksonville Arcade Expo (or JAX for short.)
January 17th – 19th
Hilton Garden Inn
9745 Gate Pkwy N, Jacksonville, Florida, 32246

The show will primarily feature classic arcade and pinball games from the 70’s, 80’s, and 90’s but there will be a few older and newer games too.  For those of you not familiar with the location, it is in the Southside/Tinseltown area of Jacksonville with a lot of different restaurants and bars within walking distance.  For the first year we are going to start with a smaller venue, and hopefully there will be enough support so we can move to a bigger space next year.  We are still working on the list of games but so far it looks like there will be a nice mix including a few very collectible titles.   

There is still quite a bit of work to do, including the website and other media, but I wanted to get it announced so people could get the date on their calendars.  We are also looking at possible events, speakers, tournaments, etc., which we will announce once we get them confirmed.  If you are interested in helping out or bringing a game (in particular the Jacksonville people) you can send me a PM and I will get back with you.
