Any thoughts on the new video modes. I saw the asteroid field game, looked cool to me. The lockbar button speeded up the ship making it harder , thus increasing scores in that mode. I havent seen the light saber dual yet. Sounds promising. I have heard nothing but good things from players and owners.

is there any time frame on the updtes where they just stop doing anymore? l figure its when theres no more glitches that are known or reported.
Once this happens they never do anything with the codes again do they? for instance, add something to the play that wasnt even thought of in the build process but someone figgerred out "wouldnt it be cool if........."?
ive wondered about this. the question actually isnt as dumb as it sounds even if Im the one asking!!!!!
thanks

I heard a rumor that the new code was causing some malfunction in the thingamajig ramp toy and burning up a board... I'm sure you can find a thread on pinside... anyone confirm? Just a PSA from a rumor I heard...

Yes, 0.92 has been bricking the fork ramp controller board but not right off the bat. It'll play fine for a while, then go out. Spoke to Chaz at Stern. If you have the issue, they'll replace the board but they are holding off on sending them until they resolve the code issue. My guess is we'll see an update early this week. I've also read where you can downgrade your code but can't confirm.

Stern put out V0.89.0 to back lever this before the problem arose. They are about to release a corrected release.
You can roll back to V0.89.0 to be on the safe side.

I replaced the fork ramp controller board yesterday at The Pinball Lounge. Tonight the new 0.93 code will be added. If anyone wants to check me check it out, I'll see you there!

Code seems solid. No issues so far and the players seem to enjoy it.
