(OT) FS: A Jet7 & for K7???

Anyone in the group have a relative who is about to undergo major surgery or will need help getting around for whatever reason?  I just saved one of those fancy hoover-round type scooters from being scraped and would like to pass it on to someone who could use it as I don't have the space.  CL ad is below, but I'd take $50 cash if you can show up in the next day or two.  It will need two new batteries ($150shipped), but otherwise should be good to go.  Think of all the fun you can have taking this bad boy to the corner store to purchase beer at 1am...It's also an instant "Express Pass" guarantee if you take it to the theme parks

I just picked this scooter up and since I thankfully don't have a use for it at the moment I'm looking to sell it as is. The scooter is a Jet 7 purchased from The Scooter Store and is in used, but good condition. I charged it overnight and just drove it for a moment so I can confirm that it works. However the amps gauge is still quite low so the charge may not last very long. You can find new batteries online for $150shipped for the pair (and probably less at a local retailer). The rear wheels are worn, but they're just stabilizing wheels so you don't have to replace them if you don't want to.

Considering the scooter is worth nearly half my asking price in scrap metal (it's quite heavy), I think I've priced it very fairly (I doubt you'll ever find another for less considering they sell for thousands new). LOL I figured someone here would have a use for it .  Someone contacted me via the CL ad a few minutes ago and offered to paypal the funds immediately as it will take them a day or two to figure out transportation.  I've sold enough to CL to know that's generally a bad idea, but I can also tell the guy is most likely not a time waster/scammer.  Anyway since I did say initially I'd take $50 from a villager if they grab it today or tomorrow I'll honor that.  If someone can grab it for Hammy's friend today/tomm it's $50.  Otherwise I'm willing to hold it for him briefly, but it'll be $95 which is still a steal of a deal.
