Hello,
I am new to this site so hopefully someone can point me in the right direction.
I have recently purchased a new home and found a classic collectors item inside. I negotiated for the machine so hopefully I can see something from it. It is a Gottliebs 1974 big indian pinball machine - 4 player limited edition. I have done some extensive research on the market value but I open to a reasonable offer.
Please let me know if there is any interest and I would not mind share images.

https://pinside.com/pinball/machine/big-indian
$550-650
depends on condition & current playable status.
sorry, its not worth the $3000 list price on ebay.
if it was a FRESH re-painted cabinet, new playfield, super clean, it could be worth 1000-1500 tops.. to a collector who really wants it...
-
would you take care of shipping?
-
hamster's not offering that. :)
it's not a collectible game/title. put it on eBay, should get you interest, STI can ship it for you with little to no effort on your behalf. they pick it up and safely wrap it, on the legs for transport.l
if you throw it on offerUp, you're going to get 200 dollar local offers, at the most. and that's if it turns on, and shoots a ball into the shooter lane. good luck.

I'm potentially interested. Feel free to send pics.

It's actually a 1975 Bally Bow and Arrow.

Ah.. I'm out.

Yeah, its a HARD PASS for me... maybe $50 ... I am pretty sure the people selling the house were happy to "include it"
-
This could be the only SS one left... ;)

I have seen pics. It is not a SS (they only made 17 which is why this came up). I'm passing.

My apologies, as it was Bally and Bow. I have a dump truck coming tomorrow and by the sound of your responses, its not even worth my time to try to sell.
tks for the info

You can sell it, just not for $3000. Plenty of people will give you at least something for the game. Post some pics and I am sure at least some offers will come through. Helping it find a good home is better than letting the city dump have it.
-
Im not sure why everyone here continues to bring up the value at $3,000...im not expecting to sell at that price, despite your comments.
I am looking to sell it by this weekend.
-
then just say "i have a pinball machine, its this: " anybody interested, make offer, no offer refused, need gone this weekend."
i would buy it for parts, but sadly, not worth a 6hr drive.
i am sure someone local would take it.
however, you started off with "i did EXTENSIVE research" and "I negotiated for the machine" .. that just calls "i wants lots of monies"

i appreciate your response, and the reason i mention those things is to avoid a $50 offer...

List it for $300, somebody will probably come by it the same day especially if it works.

I have a soft spot for Bow & Arrow, first game I ever bought, still have it. About 30 years and in all that time I have replaced one coil. nothing but wax, some bulbs, bands and cleaning off the spilled beer!
but I dont need parts.

No doubt, it will be gone this weekend. Hope it finds a good home!
