Does anyone ask the clerk at Best Buy if there is tax on their purchase?


Does anyone ask the cashier at McDonalds if there is tax on their order?


Does anyone ask the salesman at the dealership if there is tax on their vehicle purchase?


If the answer is “No” to any of the above scenarios, why does anyone question if tax will be collected on the sale of a pinball machine?

usually the guys will state out the door prices.  safer to assume yes there is gonna be tax.  these guys have helped all of the members here.

No I expect when I go to McDonalds to be charged tax and... to get the shits. Sort of a double whammy there.

At least a pinball machine wont require you to change pants later in the day.

if you have a resale tax exemption, or you don't live in the state of Florida, there is NO tax...

if you live in Florida... and you don't have a resale tax exemption, you will need to pay tax...

i would assume all prices would not include tax, unless the price says "tax included"

also, Trades reduce your tax burden . ( just like when you trade a car in for a new car )

Turn your hobby into a business!
Buy and sell.

Get a resale Certificate and a business license

Deduct Travel, game play, purchases of Games, dinners, etc......all within the rules.
Do it well enough, and many cost savings come your way, doing what you might already be doing.

A bit of record keeping, but well worth it.

No sales Tax then, to answer that question,
