since SFGE is now in the books how about a hype thread for Free Play Florida.

lol old age is catching up to me.  i fixed my original post.  Yes FPF hype.   I wonder what the set up will be like.  has a list of games started yet?

FYI I had issues booking a room through the FPF website link. The phone number listed is also incorrect.

I ended up calling Reservations at 1-(800) 823-8300 and using the FPF19 code to book a room.

I corrected the phone number, the LInk worked when i just tried it, the actual booking code is "PIN19" not FPF19 , but either will work if you call them.

There's a LOT of cool stuff coming to FPF this year..  but most of all, it's about this community and the games!  So please, do what you can to bring a game and be part of the spirit of the show.

Is that Marble Man coming back?  I always wanted to play that game but never had time to make it to CAX.  Was surprised to see it made it to FPF last year.   PS I know people say game is bad so no need to repeat.

I'm gonna go out on a limb and say yes, Marble Man will return.  An unfortunate wiring problem took it out last year but that's been addressed and it's playing great now!

That said, what cool or rare games are people working on that might come to the show?

Some of you that travel to shows have already seen it, but we can bring back Atari Firefox (assuming we still have it).

Can also bring the following rare-ish games:

Mystic Marathon
Mikie
Irritating Maze
Karate Champ Cocktail
Krull
Clowns (maybe, assumes we get it working soon)
Gravitar (maybe, boards out for repair currently)
Hunchback (maybe, boards hopefully out for repair soon)
Can also bring Marble Madness if it would be cool to have it displayed with Marble Man.

And, I have already had requests to bring Mario Bros Widebody back for the champs to try to push their already insane World Records even further out of reach.  :-)

The Prewar Playground will be back.
Hopefully I will be holding the first Prewar tournament.
Working on details now.
