Pinball Tournament Schedule at Glitch (All IFPA)
1 Women's - May 7 @ 12 pm (Sunday); practice at 11 am
1 "Amateur" - May 7 @ 4 pm (Sunday); practice at 11 am
1 "Open" - May 10 @ 7 pm (Wednesday); practice at 5pm
*please be on time as we would like to start the events as scheduled in the best interest of the 2nd tournament on May 7th and the late hour of the evening tournament. Thank you, in advance.
Tournament format for the Women's event is group match play, 7-5-3-1 scoring, for 13 rounds; no playoff.
Tournament format for the Amateur and Open events is group match play, 7-5-3-1 scoring, for 7 rounds, top 4 based on total points accumulated play a 3-game playoff with 7-5-3-1 scoring. The format ensures everyone gets to play all rounds vs a strikes where someone could potentially go out quickly. Mix of players from new to tournaments to more seasoned. Participation is limited to roughly 32 players.
$5 entry (cash only), all $ returned to top 4 players, usually there are prizes as well. Play is Coin Drop ($1/game)

The AMATEUR tournament - is not being restricted so it is IFPA sanctioned, but players are asked to assess their skill and experience to see if it is aligned with the spirit of the event, which is to attract new players as well as more casual competitive players where participants feel "most anyone can win this one".
Glitch has a substantial retro and indy arcade game collection, cool vibe, great staff and well maintained pinball machines. All games except pinball are free play if you buy a drink. Pinball is $1 game.
The parking lot in front of Glitch is small (but free). There is paid street parking and a large paid parking lot across the street.
