Hey everyone, I just wanted to see if anyone has dealt with Justin before? He's an op in the Lake Butler area. Just seeing if anyone has bought from him before? Or maybe he is a part of our community? A little feedback would go a long way here. Thanks!

I purchased an original MK4 contol panel from him before. No issues and arrived as described. Had some good conversation as well.
-
he's on the village I think. Never met him, but seems to be solid.
-
Just spent 3 hours on the road, and on arrival was told he found out an hour ago it was throwing every error message. I don't know why he didn't tell me immediately as I was on my way up. He said he talked with Ice tech support, and they offered to repair. I came for a working game, and I'm glad I insisted on seeing it working before buying. Unfortunate waste of time, at least I'm getting caught up on a podcast.
Maybe a one off, but I would not do business with this guy and would share this story with others so they would be prepped.

Dude, that sucks.. Maybe why he is on Facebook marketplace and not on Pinside/Village hawking stuff.
-
Well, Does look legit, he is posting for help now.
-
He has infected and then been kicked out of many arcades in Northeast Florida.
He has ripped off many people with raspberry pi, pandora box or
jacked up MAME computers (including personal friends of mine).
He is basically a cancer in this arcade and pinball community.

sounds like he has channeled Funky Chunky Monkey, aka Kevin, aka PinkPenguin, aka Katies-Attic, aka...you get the idea :)

FCM reached out to me asking me about repairing some equipment, i didn't respond.. i almost said "sorry, i don't work with people who have ripped off so many community members"

Here is a link to my public Facebook post on this guy...

He ripped off a friend of mine with a mame chiller cabinet that literally fell apart moving it, 20 year old computer, not fully configured, rigged up Sony crt tv, hot glue gun to keep guns together, etc etc...
-
it's the same guy :) they're all the same guy, except for ikaruga/casey. he was a different level. ;D
i hate to say it, but that is the defacto computer to use for a basic mame setup (Dell Dimension 2400 and similars). and yes...it is almost 20 years old. :P
every city has their own local arcade hack. don't forget miami's Ronnie either: "everything painted in jamaican colors, mon." ;)

My first indicator something was off was that when I showed up the dude walked up to me and was open carrying. Sure, it's his property and all, but it's not the best way to greet a total stranger coming to buy something from you. It definitely put me on the defensive and wary immediately.
Damn, I didn't realize it was on this level. I would have saved the trip had I known, but I was just out some fuel and time. At least I was able to stop by the Gainesville for a bit. It's another reminder when dealing with a new seller to always see the thing and test it first before exchanging cash.

a stop in Gainesville for some pizza at Satchel's Pizza always makes a road trip worth it.
