This is your (potentially crazy) Tournament Director at The Pinball Dudes, Lauren!

I am going all out, with 3 tournaments in one day! That's right, it's a triple header!
AUGUST 26TH, 2023!
We're going to have one ladies tournament, and two open tournaments!

Ladies Only Morning Group Match Play

Tournament to begin at 10:00 am

# Rounds (qualifying rounds TBD at TD discretion based on # of players)- Group Match Play
4 Player Groups 7,5,3,1
3 Player Groups 7,4,1
Finals to be determined, based on # of players, and timing.
The pot is distributed between the top 4 winners, 50%, 25%, 15%, 10% for each winner respective to their position!

Afternoon Open Max Match Play
Let's have an afternoon of "Max Match Play!" It's 19 head-to-head matches with no set duration, plus a Top 4 playoffs.
Only $5 to enter 🙂
This tournament should begin sometime in the early afternoon, concurrently with the end of the ladies tournament!
Lasts until everyone has played 19 games ~ expected to be about 4.5 hours
Finals for the Top 4 only: Group Match Play
The pot is distributed between the top 4 winners, 50%, 25%, 15%, 10% for each winner respective to their position!

Afternoon/Evening Open 4-Strikes
4 strikes (Best-of-1 matches. Top 2 players in a 3- or 4-player group do not receive strikes.)
Only $5 to enter 🙂
Practice between rounds may be permitted if tournament conditions allow.
Standard IFPA tournament rules apply. More details at the event.
Groupings, play order and games will be randomly generated.
Tournament starts concurrently with the end of the Max Match Play and ends with the last player standing!

Hi everyone!
This is this Saturday, if you can make it!!
I wanted to put a blurb that if you would like to bring food, either for yourself or for everyone (if anyone would like to potluck), I recommend it. It's going to be a LONG day and I will only have pizza and chips at lunch. A potluck would be great, that way everyone can stay feeling full throughout the day.

Max Match Play begins no earlier than 2 pm, but could be later.
4-Strikes begins no earlier than 6:30 pm, but could be later.
