Best place to rent box truck w/ lift gate

Renting Friday-mon quote was 100$ a day plus .30 a mile. Also dep of 250$

I thought that was crazy 360$ for 3 days + 250 deposit. Yikes.

Unfortunately it looks like you got a decent deal. My best experience is with Penske. Just rented a 26ft with lift gate for $120 a day plus .30 per mile. I put mine on credit card and no deposit was taken.
The positive is that their equipment is newer. My diesel delivered great mileage per gallon too.

shop has rented the largest uhaul about four times recently. they charge mileage and it runs about 110 bucks a day.

weekends are higher money, for obvious reasons. ;)

don't sweat the deposit.

Penske is who I used in the past (it is more and more of a pain in the ass renting lift gate trucks) and agree with K7 and PinHobby.

That is the going rate, hence why we offer free hotel rooms for people bringing 10+ games,  which basically covers the cost of renting a truck for the weekend.

Good deal. Me not being much for haggling, I don’t even check elsewhere usually. However, I’m seeing glimpses of my mortality, and with that come these random moments of being frugal.

i made a mistake. our Uhaul cost is about $40 a day for the large truck with just a ramp, but we need to gas it up and it's a dollar a mile.

sorry, i missed the whole liftgate part.
