IFPA Tournament in Miami-Dade County on 10/21/25!

Hi everyone!

I’m Nicole, the marketing lead here at Pinball Passport. We are a new venture aiming to bring pinball within 15 minutes of everyone in Miami-Dade County. Born from our love for pinball and the community it fosters, we’re on a mission to transform the area into a pinball paradise.

As a part of our efforts to revive the Miami-Dade pinball community, we’re excited to host Miami-Dade’s first IFPA sanctioned pinball tournament at Duffy’s Tavern in over 7 years! The tournament will be followed by a month long Bump N’ Win Launch Party on Jaws Pro!

Miami has a few good spots for pinball, but they don't cater tournements. I think the closest ones are at Satellite Lounge & Silverball Museum (thanks to the incredible job done by Vince & Sandra recently).

Haha, listen, I saw the operation and just had to reply. Anyway yes, the person behind it absolutely wants leagues down here. Super exciting prospect. Let’s see what happens!

Looking forward to their first event Oct 21 and I plan to be there.

Since I've been running the South Florida tournaments for the past couple of years including the weekly League at Satellite Pinball (entering the 9th 7-week season this coming week!), I'm supporting/advising Pinball Passport on this tournament and anything else they need. Miami has indeed been a competitive pinball desert for years and the last tournament I'm aware of was at Sebastian's "Temple" collection at his house in North Miami. Therefore, I'm supporting Pinball Passport's Miami effort as I'm already tapped out time-wise running Silverball monthly, weekly Satellite League (plus the tournaments - a BIG one coming early 2026 TBA stay tuned!) and now another event: "Tight Quarters At The Troy's" (home collection event, 2nd one happening Nov 1 and is listed on IFPA for those interested although there is a 24 player cap).

Daniel - I think it would be great for you to help them out. Personally I prefer having a co-TD, as playing and running the event is challenging. Also making calls on matches the TD is in really requires a different TD to rule on any issue. I'll pass on your offer.

I expect to see some Broward players attending Oct 21 but the event is in South Miami on a weeknight so these events will cater nicely to those in Dade county but tough for Broward and those further north. I look forward to seeing the competitive pinball community build and grow down South in Dade.

I probably will Co-TD this one as there may be certain IFPA rule situations that I can assist there. I'm there to help them get going and in future ones they should be good to go.
