Price check on Simpsons Data East

I've been on the fence on what I want to get next. I think Whirlwind will have to wait. lol. I've thought about Riverboat Gambler, but I played the Data East Simpsons alot when I was young. Does anyone know what these usually go for?

play it locally before you put cash on one. just make sure it will hold your interest.

I purchased one for a good price, family passed on it so fast my head spun. I knew what I liked. and that wasn't it. and I liked shaq, so it's not all caviar dreams up in hyere.

Did you have issues with it? Besides not liking it that much? I've heard a lot of the playfields did not hold up.

I had one and sold it a couple years ago.  It isn't very deep but it's still pretty cool from a nostalgia angle.  I played it when i was a teen and when I saw one I grabbed it.  Then sold it pretty quickly.  I think I had it 4 or 5 months.  The only thing I ever really had trouble keeping working were the drop targets right in the middle.  They would would take such a beating and often the ball would pop up and hit the glass when you struck it.  Good Luck!

data east, of that era, loses paint after the ball leaves either outlane and runs into the trough. I, too, had that drop target issue. wasn't good to play in competition. sound package is great. gameplay just didn't hold up for me, my son, or my wife.

but I have games here they don't like. it had to fail on many levels to leave so quickly on a greyhound.

I had mine for less than 10 days. 7 of those, it spent on eBay...

Wow. I haven't played it since I was young. They have/had one in that Pinball store at Countryside Mall. Of course not worth the money for the condition. lol. I understand they have overhead and what not. but Jesus.

sold one for 1600 recently.  It was very clean but had unusual heavy wear at the drain. not a very good pin i was happy to see it go.
