Hi Guys:

Firstly, I must apologize as I have never owned an Xbox or Playstation, so please forgive any stupid questions.

I would like to play 'The Simpsons Arcade' on my TV.  It is a new TV, with HDMI, etc.  I have been told that I can do this with either Xbox or Playstation.

However, on making inquiries, I have now been told that 'The Simpsons Arcade' was available for both Xbox and Playstation but is no longer available for these platforms.

Does anyone have any idea how I can achieve this or does someone already have this and can sell it to me?

Are there any other options open to me?

Again, this is for my TV.  I am not looking to play it on my computer.

Thanks, in advance, for any advice.

Roger

I think the problem is these are no longer available to purchase.. and being digital only you can't just go buy a used one of eBay.

I played the X-MEN XBOX port.. which is probably about the same.. and it was pretty good, even allowed for online multiplayer (ie you could team up with people online to play the same game).

Now though? Best bet would probably be this..

1. Buy a Raspberry Pi kit off amazon
https://www.amazon.com/CanaKit-Raspberry-Premium-Clear-Supply/dp/B07BC7BMHY/ref=sr_1_4?keywords=raspberry+pi+kit&qid=1562956930&s=gateway&sr=8-4

2. Download a retropi ISO (with ROMs including probably Simpsons) from some place like here:
https://www.arcadepunks.com/

3. Download Rufus and burn the ISO to an SD card
https://rufus.ie/

4. Insert card into Pi, plug Pi into TV, plug USB joypad into Pi.. enjoy

I made a 4-player Arcade Pi setup for a comic book shop using this setup and it worked really well. Had all the 4-player games.. Simpsons, X-Men, etc.

Well, thanks so much guys, for taking the time to let me have all this info.  Really appreciated.

It's all beyond me but my son-in-law is a computer whizz, so I will sending the info to him.

Thanks again.
