The home SW is good, the gameplay is fun, the R2 ball lock is nice & simple.   Good pin, maybe I should buy one...
Home version is a very fun game, especially competitive with the carryover ball locks, and the metal ramps & wire forms are satisfying to shoot.

There’s enough going on that Stern’s put together a rule sheet for it!

I'm probably never going to be sold on the home version, makes a lot more sense to just buy a used 'full' version.

For what it's worth though i think the comic art version looks great! If i was going to get a SW i'd go for the comic version.

Id look at it this way... if you like pins like BSD and iron man that will kick your ass then get the pro.

If you like easier games then the home one is way more friendly.

Ive played both and they are both fun but have totally different playability.

Whatever happened to Gene Gene the Dancing Machine?

I like the comic art better than the original. There is an original pro by me and no matter how I try this is one of those games I just can't get into and I love Star Wars.
If I were to ever get one I would want the comic art,

I'm available for parties, own my own donkeys. Very clean.
If you can read the forum you can figure out Craigslist, constant updates are tedious at best

I'd didn't really care for SW when I played it.. The pro version that is. If I wanted a star wars pin though I'd probably go with the DE version over the home model.

Those home models just seem like a rip off and certainly they will tank in value down the road.

i don't have a favorite. favorites make you broke. ;D

love metallica. ac/dc artwork could be a bigger home run with no band member images used.

and stern: please don't make a ryan reynolds deadpool. you done good with comic book on that one. ah you no touch. ;)

This whole thing is a bit confusing to me anyways.

You would figure anyone who is into star wars already has one... and are they going to dump theirs to get a new one at full price? doubt it.

Also the game itself is a bitch.. its fun but the bigger knock on the game is how hard it is so not sure who they are trying to make happy here just re-skinning it.

To me the new pro looks better then the original but the premium the movie art is already really good for the cabinet. The yellow and orange premium looks goofy to me.

The comic playfield is cooler but doesnt really go with the movie themed display anyways.

Just not really sure who they are trying to appeal to....

Well, in a very short time they have done the Pin and now the comic art. Stern obviously considers they were still a lot of SW fans who were still hesitant to bring a pinball at home.
The original art, without being ugly, was completly lacking of creativity.

Maybe they are losing the license soon so they wanted to pump out as much as they could before that happens?

Star Wars itself is at an all-time low popularity wise so probably not the best time to be doubling down on it but what can you do.

Since I was accused of pumping this game up because I own one  :P

One the better known pinball you tube talking heads shows had their best games of all time list.

Not recent games only... this is all time favorites and both had the game on there.

To me its a bitch like iron man but with better rules... I was an early adopter on iron man and that game got trashed too now its top 10 for most players.

Ha good point. I didnt watch the whole thing someone sent it to me.... its a personal preference list.  :P

Id give them 5 of those combined.

I still think Star Wars is a game that gets a ton of shit I think will be appreciated later like iron man.

Tourney players dont like it because it has tons of side to side and you have to use the "action button" and wack the 3 bank target constantly which they hate. Ball is out of control allot.

Casual players dont like it because your game will be over in under 2 minutes. It has zero walk up and play a few games fun about it.
