Well, I got back from Atari Jim's house a little while ago. After watching him work, I wont take a monitor to anyone else. He is a master with these things. He explained what he was doing, why he was doing it and then explained how to properly adjust them when I got them home. I learned quite a bit today. I wasn't too bad on cost either. It is probably because he doesn't use kits. He has capacitors, transistors, flybacks, boards, etc. all organized and ready for using and I think that helps him keep costs low and use higher quality parts.
As for the Neotech 2515c monitor, it is still at Jim's. He did a cap replacement and changed the flyback but, there are other issues with it. He is going to work on it when he gets more time so, I may need to wait for the next Tampa/Orlando Express to get it or take another trip down there.
Anyway, thank you for the recommendation for using Jim. If nothing else, it was cool to watch him work.
