Fast and Furious Superbikes F1 Issue
« on: August 23, 2025, 07:53:28 PM »
Hey!  I have a Fast and Furious Superbikes and it was shut off for a long time, so wouldn't start up when I went to start it a few days ago.  My power supply was bad in the PC so I got a 300w new one with more than enough power to run it.  I was able to start the game and went through the steps to set it back to power up with the one off switch for the entire game.  After doing that everything starts together, but it still won't boot into the game and leaves me at the screen to push F1 to continue to boot the game, which I have done to play it.  The problem is, the cmos battery change didn't fix that and after reboots I thought I better ask and hope someone knows about this and what the fix is.  This is the screen I'm at.  Any questions, please ask me, and thanks very much for any help!

Ok heres your problem, goto BIOS and disable the FLOPPY DRIVE and save settings F10.. also u might look for 'halt boot on errors" section and make sure it wont stop the boot up if keyboard is missing etc. but I am sure once u disable the floppy drive and make it say NONE and save the settings and reboot itll be fine..

That worked like a champ! Game boots up fine now. Thanks very much for the help. Super helpful to have people help teach us Groms some new things.
