WTB: Translite Frame
« on: March 12, 2011, 04:56:09 AM »
I bought a Family Guy translite from Pinballlife and would like to display it in a frame.

Is anyone selling one or know a place to purchase something like this? I googled and didn't see anything...

I can make you one, give me a call, but not today, as I will be at the Daytona 200.

So you are getting a light box built?  Or just a frame?  I've got a BBB translite that I had a really nice frame made for.  I use a spot light to light it up but would prefer some sort of back lighting.  I really want to maintain the low profile of a normal frame and not have a light box.  I was considering some sort of edge lit plexi setup because would be really thin and could be built into the frame.  It would be something like an edge lit sign only the whole sheet would be etched to light up the whole translite.

Hi John, I was thinking of a lit box. Since I've never done it before (and haven't investigated what's possible), I'm open to ideas. The link you forwarded is cool.
