Tempest and Q-Bert for sale (again)
« on: March 15, 2011, 11:18:27 AM »

UPDATE:  BOTH OF THE GAMES HAVE NOW BEEN SOLD....Thanks for everyone's comments/suggestions in both postings.

I posted this back in January but both of the buyers backed out without even seeing the games....so I'm putting them up again.

You can view the condition of the cabinets and the working games by clicking the video (IGNORE THE 'BEST OFFER BY FEB 20'...... PRICES ARE BELOW) Classic Arcade Video Games

TEMPEST ($450) - This game had a minor overhaul in 2008 by a game repair guru named Atari Jim (813-685-8175) (reasonable and I highly recommend him if you need game repairs!!). He reworked the display and replaced several parts. Unfortunately, recently I noticed that the spinner didn't work. Atari Jim diagnosed the problem over the phone as probably a loose connection or some other minor repair.

Q-Bert ($100) - This is a completely working cocktail table version of Q-Bert. Comments received on the earlier post indicate it is probably not an original.

Send an e-mail if you have any questions (view the youtube video first please).  You can pick them up in Longwood, Fl or I'll deliver within 100 miles for $50.

Nice fair prices and great descriptions!   I'd snag that Qbert just to play if I had the room!

it's fine, watch later on in his video. i'd buy it, but he's too far for me to drive, and it should go to a local collector...i'd harvest it for parts and build an upright out of it.
