Yep thats mine and someone just picked it up for $2500.00. So the price Police wrong again.

I read through the comments posted before yours and didn't see any price policing.  People like HH, and there was interest amongst Village members to boot.

Maybe, there'll always be someone like that.  However, CQ games are in a whole different pricing class than most people can stomach, and there are plenty of people here willing to pay whatever it takes for what they want.  Regardless you wound up with a thread here despite your intentions not to.  :)

I'd personally prefer to see Village members always post their wares for sale here even if there is a public listing, because we all benefit from buying and selling amongst each other one way or another.  In return it would be nice to see a bit less of the offensive price policing that forces people to think twice about listing here.  We're like family, and family members require a bit of thick skin.  No one can deny being unscathed by some thread or comment after enough time is spent posting here.

If you want all original like new  30 year old games thats why you can't put value on it. You can always restore but original unless you have a time machine no other choice. Sure would of like to kept it in the community but don't want to deal with the BS drama with price policing and what not. The guy that got it was happy as a pig in shit and I was happy with the sale price so that is all that matters. ;D

It's all supply and demand. Rolex couldn't give this watch away back in the 70's sold for like $700. So they didn't make very many. Then Paul Newman wears the Daytona in the movie winning and the Rolex Daytona craze started. Now that awful red watch is simply know as the red dial Paul Newman Daytona and sells for $250,000.00. Crazy what items go thru the roof in price.
