NGG slam ramp issue
« on: November 08, 2012, 07:45:00 AM »
I have a problem with my slam ramp adjusting screw. The one that locks it into position and keeps it from moving north and south. Seems there is no way to lock it down so it works loose. I thought about putting a small dab of locktite on it but not sure if it would be wise. Any suggestions?

I'd use blue loctite, I always had problems with screws coming out on the slam ramp.

If you are talking about the long hex wrench screw, then it is suppose to have a nylon lock nut on the threaded end.

loctite, or find that nylon nut to buy.

loctite will keep it from vibrating loose. you can still unscrew it as needed. :)
