i'll give him my night moves: at this rate, that will be worth 80 grand in 6 years, and this car will be worth 10 grand. :)

Lol 80k who the heck would buy that. You can get a real Ferrari 328 for $45k. I remember seeing those Fiero "Lamborghinis" all the time but it's been a while.

It's a cool story about him building it in his basement over all of those years. I mean, who saw Cannonball Run and didn't want that Lamborghini? That car was totally bad ass and still looks amazing.

HOWEVER

Yeah I don't see paying $80k for it if you are somebody else. At the end of the day its a kit car recreation, not the real deal. Hell it's probably more reliable than a real one, but given that you could probably track down a vintage one in that price range it's a bit of a head scratcher.

I understand there's probably $80k of work and money in it.. but that doesn't always count for as much as it should.
