When I got my Alien Poker at GameWarp, Kurt helped me move it.  (We both lifted it to the third floor by hand, not yoo many people who are willing to do that for a new guy).  Kurt and a couple other nice people I met at GameWarp turned me on to this website and emphasized that I needed to join POPS.  He said it was a great way to meet other pinheads in Orlando and to get to play different machines, something I am eager to do since Orlando is mostly a dead zone for pins.  I read the sticky, I don't have 4 machines yet in my apartment, but my girlfriend and I are more than willing to bring food or beer/sodas should you be willing to invite us to attend an event.  My picture is in my hello thread in the general section for those of you who haven't met me and are able to judge a book by its cover.  I am eager to learn how to work on these machines besides just playing them so if you need help, I'm happy to lend a hand and earn my way.  That said, how do I join POPS?  Are there dues/fees?  Who do I need to talk to?  What do I need to do?  I am in Winter Park so I am within the 45 minute radius.  Also, if it's no trouble, my younger brother is a stand-up comic who works for the Improv and Bonkers and he is also interested in attending.  He has an erratic schedule though.

I lucked into an Alien Poker at Game Warp.  It's WAS my first table.  Now I have a Johnny Mnemonic!

Interested in: Spiderman (stern), Monopoly, Twilight Zone, Tales From The Crypt, Black Hole, Johnny Mnemonic, Shadow, Time Machine, Fire!, High Speed, Tommy, LOTR, and a few others.  I'm looking to upgrade.  :)

Dream pins: AC/DC premium, Twilight Zone, Spiderman

Heropixel you're welcome to come to the event!  You only need to have pins to host, not to attend the events!  Al is an awesome guy and I think this will be a great event! No Dues or Fees, you can PM me or Al for an invite to the next event.  Our events are very social and all about the enthusiasm in this hobby

We do have some shirts though if you like!

PS- Love the Improv!

I fix things.. all the things.. but you have reach out first to see how my queue looks. ( all things arcade/pinball/computer ) ... do not do house calls, repairs are generally live streamed on twitch.

All are welcome children come into the light...

Go into the Light!

Seriously just PM and I will forward directions.  BYOB and and finger food is welcome.  There will be community beer and sodas in the fridge but if you want something in particular please bring it.   Kicking around the idea of busting out the Jimmy Buffet Frozen Concoction machine since we are in the middle of summer...

Made more headway on the gameroom last night.  After 5 months of working on it I can see the light at the end of the tunnel...

Danny,  there's a lot of.... Well badness in the world today. I see it in the court everyday. I've sentenced boys younger than you to the gas chamber.... didn't want to do it.... felt I owed it to them.

Calmly checks thread...

Scrolls down, sees pics.  clicks pics.

HOLY BALLS!  Dude, you have an AMAZING collection!  And you let people in your house?  And let them play them?  Really?  And one of them is a Medieval Madness?  I mean, I've wanted to play one since I saw it in Steve Bucci's video and on Pinball Arcade, but I'm afraid to touch it.  It's worth more than my car!  Seriously!  And Addams Family, and oh!  And TRON!  And it just keeps going...  oh wow.  Thank you.  Just really, thank you.  This is incredible.  Dude, thank you so very much.  You like finger food and pizza?  I'll bring pizza.  You name it.  You got it.  Wow.  You tell me when, I'll be there.  This is so awesome.

Mary, my girl, she LOVES Bad Cats by the way.  Meow meowmeow meowww!

Ok, so seriously, now I can't wait.  This is gonna be awesome.  I am super excited.

Hello!
I'm new to BBS but not new to pinball, I've attended APE, SPF X2 and Gamewarp for the last two years. Would love to become more active here in town. Pls count me in for POP events, I'm happy to bring food or drinks, etc. as I am a lifelong fan of the silverball....

Enormous amounts of thanks to Paul who came out early to help me move machines on his birthday!. Eric for enduring my wife perfectionism while they tore down bad cats. Jeff and Randy for helping fix and find the numerous gremlins on my machines.  Art for his LED lessons on how to make Dracula's back box come out of its shell.  These guys truly stepped up and worked from 2 pm to 2 am getting my machines dialed in.  What a hardcore group of pinheads Julia and I are truly thankful for all you did to get ready for this event.  Plus they work for pizza!  Definitely have a long way to go to make it up to you guys.  Look forward to next week.  Stay tuned for parking directions and general notifications..
