Addams Family Pinball Machine - $8500 (Bradenton)

The Addams Family is the BEST SELLING PINBALL MACHINE since the 1930s, having sold 20,270 units. Manufactured by Midway (under the Bally name), it is a solid state electronic game. It was based on the 1991 movie of the same name, and features custom speech (mostly drawn from the movie) by the movie's stars, Raul Julia and Anjelica Huston.

This particular model is DECKED out in LED lights, making it SUPER BRIGHT, it also has the famous TV mod, playing classic scenes from both the movie and the cartoon...

The Addams Family Pinball has a few highly popular add-ons that make it different than others like:

-Thing: A hand that comes out of a box and uses a magnet to pick up and store the ball when it lands in the appropriate spot.

-The Power: a triangle of under-playfield electromagnets in the middle of the board that, when during certain times in the game, activated in a generally random manner, causing the ball to move in unpredictable directions.

-Thing Flips: Above the top left flipper was an optical sensor that at certain points in the game let the machine attempt to read the speed of the ball, and taking control of the flipper from the player hit a shot on the opposite side of the field, the first CPU controlled flipper in pinball history. The game's ability to use missed shots to calibrate future attempts resulted in an automatic flip that was impressively accurate.

ALL of our sales include:
-1 year warranty
-a totally shopped, dressed, 100% working machine
- Local delivery

We've got hundreds of other games! Pinballs, too! Check for our other listings or feel free to call/text to inquire.

send email or call/text 941-650-4135 if interested!

All I could think of was ..... at that price, I wish he had two (and that he would include the crack he's been smoking)!

Was wondering same...

Worst part about Funky Chunky Monkey's Machine is that I had that deal all-but wrapped up at $4,000 (or so I was led to believe). The night before I was to head to the seller's house, FCM told the seller he was driving all the way down from Gainesville, and then bought it the night before I arrived for for $4500. Wonder if whoever buys the TAF from FCM will get the topper this time...

Oh well, if run-of-the-mill TAFs start selling for $8500, then we know we are at the peak of the bubble...

Wait, my mistake.... I'm sorry.... I mean if "DECKED OUT" (read: has LEDs) TAFs start selling for $8500...

just curious, what would you guys say a proper price for a decent but imperfect Addams family should go for? I'm asking with all do respect as Ive been thinking down the road here a little bit I may be in the market for one.
I trust your advice. wouldn't have to have a bunch of "mods" which I happen to think are ridiculous for the most part, altho I do have a 8 ball shooter rod on my 8 ball deluxe.
I'm talking a little cab fade, a little playfield wear but mostly very decent, no broken plastics, etc ..oh and a a topper!
anyway just wondering. I'm trying to improve my knowledge on some of the more popular SS titles.
thanks

A local guy had a TAF that was exactly like you described.  He had it listed on CL, and then posted it here.  After various price drops, I believe he finally sold it for $3,800.

wait...FCM paid $4500 for that game listed in his jacksonville ad, and is only asking $4800 obo?

that doesn't make sense...unless it's pure bait and switch. there's no value in paying market price for a game just to try to flip at market price?

Not funky chunky monkey's machine.  I have it, and have been taking my time getting it back together.

I never did get the topper from him.  Don't get me started....
