GW Favorites
« on: July 29, 2013, 10:59:02 AM »
Great show this year, great mix of games. I found at the end of the show even after walking around for a few days I managed to not play a whole bunch of stuff somehow that I wish I could have. Thats when you know it was big enough!

What were everyones favorites?

personal favorites:
Miami Vice Pinball - I like this game! Cool license, wish the left flipper had a little more bump to make that ramp shot easier.
Wizard of Oz - Such a quality product, best new pin I've played in a long time.
Food Fight - my gf's personal favorite, we enjoyed many games on it
Venture - never played one before, was great
Time Pilot - Never played one with an official stick, was awesome, made my personal best on one game!
TOTAN
The Shadow - so awesome!

Games I haven't seen in at least 20+ years:
Earthshaker
Mousin Around
Road Runner

Thanks to all who helped!

HA!  That's my Hollywood Heat with my custom translite that I did for the show.  I'm glad you liked it.  I have new coils for the flippers but I just cant' bring myself to put them in yet.  I like the challenge of that ramp shot.  But I did get this feedback a couple of times during the show, so I may have to put in the new coils.

There were a few games that I have never played before.  Here's what I really liked:
- Banzai Run - holy shit that was rad.  Who's was this and can I buy it?  Haha
- Bad Cats - again, I would like to buy that.
- Class of 1812

Such a good show.  I can't wait until the next one.

Was that the one with Lion Man?  Love the sound effects and call outs on that pin.  Wasn't able to play it as it just got too crowded by the time I had to leave.  My favorite was Banzai Run.  Wife's fave was WH20 and both kids loved Dr. Who.  Thanks to everyone who volunteered and brought games.

Roadrunner was mine, I had installed a NOS hall effect joystick in it for reliability for the show. Nice to see people enjoying and playing it. Thanks to Luis (lcamayd) for bringing it to the show & Mick getting it sold for me. Sad to see it go but need room for other games. It was an awesome show this year.
