Help Needed - Possible Solutions to Problems(Input Needed)

Problem 1:  Kick out Saucer

Need to make a kickout saucer and needed some input.  What game has the best use of kickout Saucer? I haven't looked to far into it but there doesn't seem like there is a readily avaible kick out saucer type mech.  What's the most modern type mech that would accomplish this?

Problem 2:

I'm looking for a barrier assembly, ie like a drop target or motorized bank target that will only open when I program it to.  What I really think I need is the shadow wall assembly but they are pretty much impossible to find.  A similar mech was also used on FT and STTNG.  Maybe a few other is anyone has any ideas.  A single drop target assembly is ready available but I want it to stay up and having it reset all ther time to block the ball would defeat the purpose.  I originally thought maybe a motorized target bank moded to be one target width might be an option but they seem to be only slightly less unavailable but would not be practical as I would have to deal with an AC motor but still might be an option.

If anyone has an idea of a possible solution or where i could find any of these parts, please send me a pm.

all i picture are the late 70s kickout setups...a 1/2 drilled and tapered hole for the ball to sit in, a hole that the ball switch comes through, and the actual kicker mechanism.

the DMD era stuff i think of acts like vertical upkickers, as in to guide a ball into an elevated wireform ramp as seen on Monday Night Football, Tommy, LOTR, etc...

personally, on From Hell, i was toying with a setup where a ball would roll into a 45% angled scoop (somewhere high up on the playfield, hidden from player's view), and fire out with some velocity over playfield parts...maybe like the war machine kickback on ironman...but as an air ball. you can modify coil power so you don't wack the glass.
