That's it.  It was a Mouse Trap and the Taito was a Front Line.

The Taito cabinet has termites and is not coming back into my garage.

Anyone looking for parts?

That sucks.

Is it worth gassing?  How bad is the damage?

I've heard thru the grapevine there's a local Tampa place that will do it $75 or so...

I know these don't come 'round often.

That sucks Phil, I hate termites.  I know how it feels to find you have a waste of a cabinet, but there's no other choice imo than to terminate it, not worth the risk of screwing around with it.  At least you got working boards out of it.

Phil the cab in the picture has termites?  Looks nice to me.  Better than my Taito cab that houses my Front Line.  I know you said you're done with it but any way to save it?

wait. isn't a taito MDF? don't termites avoid MDF?

i'm drunk. could be the issue here. save all taitos. :P

i've seen termites get into a taito base. remove and discard of that via fire, build a new base. :D

I agree they'll only hit the wood pieces in the cab & base & not the MDF, someone can put it in a vault and save it for sure. Taito cabs are pretty scarce now a days won't take much for someone to save it.

I agree.  I implore Sid to save it.  I'd take it if he can save it.

Take it to Super Auctions, termites get a premium there!
