TBPL Meetup - WED, May, 14th

Hey guys! The next official TBPL Meetup will be at 7pm @ Octave and FUBAR, on WED, MAY, 14th, starting at Octave. We will be using the same format and software that we used last month, having everyone team up with another player, and playing one game each on a bank of six. Sorry for the late night and change at the end of the last meetup.

There will be a $5 entry, with a payout of 1st = 60%, 2nd = 30%, 3rd 10%

Im going to go over the games tonight to make sure they are all ready for tomorrow.  Ordered a bunch of parts and DMDs last week but unfortunately I don't think they will be here in time...

The games at Octave were all gone through and serviced. The code in Pirates has been updated to the latest, and Fish Tales has had all the LEDs removed from the GI (way more brighter).

I look forward to seeing some familiar faces, as well as meeting some new. See you guys at 7pm.

The scores are in! Dan Coyle took 1st place with 72 points, Jim Bean came in 2nd with 71 points, and Michael Burke came in 3rd place with 68 points. Solid performances from everyone. Thanks for coming out! See you next month.

When I grow up I wanna be Teresa! :) Fun night, a bit soggy outside but we made the best of it. Can't wait for the next meet-up, I'll be practicing!!

I had a great time, all the machines played great. What a difference playing with the tilt bobs in make. Thanks Owl and Rat for putting in the extra time cleaning the machines and running the tourney. I can't wait till the next one.

I missed this one..One BIG reason...I cannot handle the overpowering cigarette smoke.
I was at the tourney before this one and my eyes teared non-stop. It was hard for me to focus on playing.
I love pinball  but it was way to smokey in both bars...for me anyway.

Maybe if the back door was jarred open or something like that so a breeze could cleanse the smog, it may help.

Cudos to a great event, great people, well maintained games and great fun but the cigs just flat out kill it for me.
It's almost like everyone in there is required to smoke. chain smoke...it's absolutely nuts.
