Show Down of the Leagues at Free Play

a couple of the ideas we banded around was to offer each Group (FLIPS/POPS/TBPL & JAX) an area of floor space so they could show off their groups games, promote their league, and get people interested in fun pinball events

the other idea was to make a fun tournament and pit each group against each other and see who would become the #1 group, this was just a fun idea

also we wanted to do a Pinball 101, show people the basics of game play, cupping the balls  and thought that could have a member from each group do a little 30min panel on the main floor with a machine, and get people involved, hands on

so as we move closer to the show, thoughts? ideas? on the above do you groups want to see it? be part of it? or will you all be focusing on the main pinball tournament?

The leagues/groups are becoming very popular and all have grown into amazing groups, so lets showcase that and their machines

Sounds like fun! Would the league tournament then run on a separate bank of machines or the main tourney at a different time?
 I'm down to learn more about general pin knowledge and table tips. Always thought of it as cradling balls , cupping balls reminds me of Beirut aka beer pong among other non-pinball activities.

this would be totally seperate to the main PAPA Pinball tournament at Free Play
and the Pinball 101 would be in the main room giving everyone a chance to learn more about playing pinball
