We will now be meeting for our monthly Tournaments on the 1st Wednesday of every month, and for a social/practice every 3rd Wednesday.
The TBPL OCT Tournament will begin at 7pm @ Octave and FUBAR, on WED, OCT 1st, starting at Octave. We will be using the same format and software that we used previously, having everyone team up with at least one other player, and playing one game each on a bank of six. The highest score on each game will be awarded the total amount of players participating, IE 10 players, the highest score on ID4 would receive 10 pts, 2nd place would receive 9pts, and thereon. Each players total scores for each individual game is added together and displayed live at Octave. If there is a tie, the group will decide the game. As usual, if we get 16+ in attendance, the operator will double the pot.
There is a chance that the pins from Fubar might get pulled before the event. If this happens, we will either double up on the pins at Octave or introduce a Mulligan feature allowing you to replay 1/2 games to improve your overall score. Also, depending on how the Replay tournament on SEPT 27th goes, we might schedule another event for the month of OCT. If so it will be on a weekend day, and later in the month.
There will be a $5 entry, with a payout of 1st = 60%, 2nd = 30%, 3rd 10%
