change rules to increase clan activity?

time to start considering ways to increase member activity before active players go away. please suggest ideas, and lets try to maintain civility!

I play COC daily. Cool to see a section in The Village BBS.
Not sure what Clan you guys are in or your rules, but just for fun we open up for "anyone to join" during Wars just to see who floods in. The hoppers leave and we've gotten a few good players this way.
The Atari 2600 E.T. game is actually a map of Area 51 and the cartridges contain material from the UFO that crashed in Roswell.

I think we kick the inactive players or move them to clan 2. Our clan would definitely be more "elite" in my opinion if we only had active players in the main clan. With this being said, we need to step up our game. Make the level requirement at least 80 with certain level heroes. Our clan does have a lot of potential with the majority of our members being very experienced.

I think that clan 2 could be more of a casual clan for less active members so they can still be part of our clan system whereas the main clan could be for more elite players. I think that we should give everyone a change to become more active before they get moved to clan 2 as it could destroy the social aspect of the game, which is a reason why many players love to play.

I think that the inactive get kicked with a message telling them to join clan 2 if they don't play as often or to rejoin clan 1 if they are more active now. We should also make sure that each and every one of our clanmates is accounted for so they can still be in one of our clans.

Pretty much, we need to do a cleansing of the clan, and we could even possibly kick everyone and start over with the same clan name (and post the clan tag on the forums). It would help our clan become stronger. We should move the inactive to clan 2 and freshen up clan 1.

*Also, on a side note, the Christmas base design contest is still on. Check my post about it and start submitting today! Entries must be submitted no later than December 20th so the judges have time to pick a winner.*

Agreed that inactive ppl should be kicked to clan 2.  We have enough ppl where we can have clan 1 as the more active and elite clan and clan 2 is the less active clan.

For maintaining activity, i think the 1:2 donation ratio is good. Some people mentioned mentioned setting higher lvl requirements and donation requirements. I have no opinion about the higher lvl requirement. If a higher lvl means theyre more active or less likely to leech, fine by me. 

Having a minimum request level to make people active in attacking or at least requesting is ok as long as its reasonable. I dont think that we have to make people attack everyday, but how about a minimum of 300 requested troops each session? Marc had a number he suggested, but i don't remember it right now.

Are there other things we can implement so that we can keep the clan at a pretty active level? With the holiday season in full swing in the US, we might see more ppl being inactive temporarily.
