Had a blast as well
. Steve, Doug, and the numerous volunteers did a wonderful job of making it run smoothly (or at least appear that way to the public
) and they definitely raised the bar compared to last year's show. You also have to tip your hat to the Miami guys for travelling the length of the state to share so many games.
It was nice to meet a few of you for the first time, but it was especially nice to meet Robert/thepita007 as he went above and beyond the call of duty to get that goofy hoops working and to the show. He even went home Saturday night and dug through his parts to find the piece that broke on the machine Saturday so he could send it home with me as a working game
.
Road Runner?
Bring it to FreePlay and maybe we can work something out
. I hated that game when I played it at GameWarp a couple years back as I never lasted more than 30 seconds. However after watching someone play it I gave it another try and was finally able to crack 100k. By Sunday it seemed the joystick needed a bit of adjustment or something as it was hard to go full speed left, but I still enjoyed it more than any other title.
Oh, and even though I have no money or space, I now also want an America's Most Haunted and a Gottlieb Haunted House; had a ton of fun playing both
