OK this was hopefully a good idea
The goal here is to create a Florida Centric community for classic game collectors and players.
A little bit on my background, I started with an Atari 2600 in 1982 and have played everything since progressing through the various consoles. I always hated going into stores in the early 80s and not being able to play games on certain systems (as you only had the one unless you were mr. money bags) so later in life I made it my mission to get every system out there. Obviously I still wasn't mr. money bags but even back in the day if you waited you could pick up the secondary (or tertiary) systems pretty cheap.. especially if you hit up the dirt malls.
While I have the typical story about the bucket of vintage star wars figures and transformers that went to the goodwill by god I kept all my video games throughout the years and am pretty passionate about vintage consoles the same way I've been about arcade games and pins. To me its all just different aspects of the same hobby.
So anyway welcome to the new part of the forum.
