Looking for someone to do mechanical work on a 69 Mustang
« on: March 28, 2016, 08:01:28 AM »
I am in need of someone that has work experience on Mustangs. I am restoring a 69 Mach with a 4 speed. Everything is new on this car and I am in the final stretch of getting it completed. I would like to have an experienced person come and help me (or me help them) with the final work. I need the rear brakes installed and the completed system bled as all lines and parts are new. I need the transmission installed and tweaked. I need the final work on the drive train done before running. The dash and gauges will all have to be set up. There is just too much to do for one person only working an hour or two in the evenings. Email me if you are interested in doing some mechanical work. Thanks Rick richard.clarkson@comcast.net

Yup, too far away.  Brakes, if car is factory stock, drum brakes are fine, but if high performance motor, then use discs all around.

Disc in front and drum in back. All factory set up. Big block Ram Air car that is being restored to original.  Posi and 4 speed. I may change it over to all disc in the future if I don't like the way it responds. Thanks

Clark I may have time coming up one of these weekends. I'm a retired ASE master tech and have owned over 20 1967-1970 mustangs. I know them very well.
