An observation
« on: August 02, 2009, 07:04:27 PM »
I was thinking the other day, you know how whenever you see those totally 'riced' out cars.. you know the ones with the fading glitter paint job that probably cost more than the car and the humongous wing and body kits? Almost always there is something wrong with them. I mean, you'll have this totally spectacular paint job and 3 foot spoiler than bang.. the bumper is smashed in. Or there's a dent in the door or half the bumper is still just primer. Anyway point being there is always some sort of body damage or cosmetic problem offsetting the massive amount of other crap.

So just kinda trying to figure out why. My assumption is the demographic that is likely to paint their car purple and stick a bunch of plastic all over it probably drives a bit unsafe.. maybe takes chances? Or perhaps they spent sooo much money on the rims they couldn't afford to fix the bondo'd bumper? Bottom line though literally 9 times out of 10 these rides got problems.

I ain't mentioning rice for a few days at least...best to keep a low(er) profile.   ;)

My big question is, do they paint the cars THEN have an accident? or is it they have an accident THEN paint the cars?

Surely it costs way to much to paint a whole car, so they wouldn't just paint the car except for the accident spot, so then they probably are accident prone...best guess as to why that is...many of them probably think they are in "The Fast & The Furious" & like to pretend they are Vin Diesel.

you guys just mad you gots no street creds..

:P

I like the shopping cart cars that have 8 peeps in there, and like a broken windshield, and kids hanging out the windows, and like jack said, primer painted bumper etc.

I also love the Impala's with 28" rims, and the immaculate interior, but it blows smoke, and sounds like a tin can. What? Spent all your pocket cotton on the exterior and not on the motor?

My favorite thing about a lot of these guys is that they modify the exterior of their cars to make them "panty droppers". 1. If you need to have a flashy car to get something.. well... and 2. I don't think any girls beyond middle school actually think they look good. -shrug-
