Also, I've read some of the newer ones are "oil burners", even out of the box.  You might want to watch oil levels, esp w/frequent highway speed riding, just to be safe.

I've seriously considered a newer one, but haven't found the right deal or acted yet...

its a 1998.

i did the do last weekend, and it was broke, no damage was done, and was able to recover all the peaces.. spring was still in place., replaced with eaglemike do & t spring.

muffler has the "vw" pee shooter sound, need to work on that some more.

bike is in premo condition for the 22,000 miles on the ticker.

if i want a street bike, i would buy a Harley..

its a big change over the little tw200 i had, but i don't like the ride height on a drz400, and the price was right on the klr650.. and i had a two friends get klr's recently, an 08 and an 02, i saw this one, and had to snatch it up.

yea rocket's are fun but if you want a street bike get a harly.

look's like i found anouther enduro rider ive got a suzuki sp250 that i ride most every day.

the tw200 are cool i looked at a few.i had a drz400 dirt bike and it does sit a bit high but i got used to it and could throw it around like my old klx80 when i was a kid.

my next bike will be eather a drz400e or a klr650 or[evan though i HATE honda]a xr650r.

if i get my mind right i will probly get a harly but i still love being abble to just jump off the paved road and ride off into the woods or down the rail road track's
